🌱 SHE Roots Scholarship: At a Glance

 

Award Amount

💎 One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded for the 2026–2027 academic year.

 

Who Can Apply

• Identify as a BIPOC female (college-age or older)

• Texas resident for at least 1 year

• Enrolled in an accredited school or leading a community/personal project

• Demonstrated commitment to personal growth, mental wellness, and service

 

Application Timeline

• 📌 Opens: November 1, 2025

• 📌 Closes: February 28, 2026

• 📌 Selection Announced: May 2026

• 📌 Award Distributed: Summer 2026 (before fall semester)
